U15 Boys Win Weston Invitational

Plantation Eagles under 15 Boys win U15s Classic at the Annual Weston
Invitational Soccer Tournament for the second year in a row.

Playing with outstanding skill, determination, and poise, the Plantation U15
Boys completed group play without a loss - winning two and drawing the
third. In fact, the only goals they conceded in getting to the championship
game came from penalties in each game.

The final game was against Estero Storm from Naples Florida. The game
started with both teams showing the ability to control the pace of play for
periods of time. However, approximately 10 minutes into the game, the
Eagles drew first blood on a nifty goal from Derick D'Amico. Undeterred,
the Storm got one back, but Plantation quickly responded with well placed
ball resulting in a 2-1 halftime lead. What was thought to be a competitive
second half ended up being a display of force by the Eagles quickly scored
three goals. The Eagles went on to win 6-2.
