Team Building Event with TRAC at FIU

August 12, 2006

Report by DOC

On August 12, our u15, u16 and u17 girl’s teams had the opportunity to participate in the TRAC program at FIU north campus.  The Team Ropes Adventure Challenge at FIU is a unique series of custom activities designed to build confidence and enhance the performance of individuals, teams, corporate groups and organizations.  The program focuses on teamwork; with participants working together to solve structured problems in an adventure based setting.  The problems require group communication, cohesion, trust and experimentation in order to achieve success.

This event was a huge success for all players and teams involved.  Players worked in teams to solve problems and confront physical obstacles and challenges.  This event allowed players to bond with their teammates, communicate effectively and depend on one another to gain success.  Elements that are important on the soccer field and in life.  In the end, the players had lots of fun and built confidence in themselves and their teammates.  This is an event that provides a positive learning experience for all players and teams.  We look to continue to expose our players to experiences that will make them better soccer players and better human beings.
